Welcome.
I'm happy you're here.

I'm Jemma - a mindfulness teacher passionate about helping people manage stress-related challenges in their daily life.

My journey into mindfulness started nearly 10 years ago.

Besides being a mindfulness teacher, I have career spanning over 18 years as an award-winning television producer.

Despite the many high's, working in live television is inherently stressful. Long working hours in pressurised situations juggling multiple plates, can very quickly turn anyone into a state of overwhelm and burnout.

Coupled with some major life events, I knew that I needed to find ways of mitigating stress and anxiety so that I could better weather life's up's and down's.

I turned to a meditation app initially and soon found that a daily practice became an essential part of my morning routine. I looked forward to a moment of quiet and calm at the start of each day, before it became full of never ending to-do lists.

My practice deepened over the years and I explored various other forms of meditation in group settings, before deciding to embark on an 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Based Reduction course in Spring 2020.

After completing my MBSR course, I came away with a variety of new tools and practices under my belt which I could readily put into action at home and at work.

I knew then that I wanted to teach MBSR, and share its practical benefits with others.

I commenced my teacher training with The Mindfulness Network and the University of Bangor in January 2021. I attend teacher training courses, workshops and meditation retreats on an ongoing basis, and follow the Good Practice Guidelines.

I currently deliver mindfulness courses and workshops to the general public and in workplace settings.

I look forward to learning and discovering together, the ways in which an MBSR course can help and empower you.
