About the MBSR Course
Reduce stress and anxiety in your daily life. On an online 8 week MBSR course, you'll learn practical tools and techniques to help you meet life's challenges with greater ease.
The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is the most recognised and established mindfulness course, taught throughout the world.
Developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the late 70s by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn, MBSR combines meditation, body awareness, mindful movement and the exploration of thoughts, feelings and emotions to help people cope better with stress, depression and anxiety.
Via guided meditations, group discussions and home practice, you will learn the essential principles of mindfulness and a range of practical tools to help you access its wide ranging benefits.
Course Format:
The online course consists of eight 2.5 hour sessions and an online half-day retreat. Approximately 40 minutes of home practice per day in between sessions is recommended during the course.
